Signed copies of THE POUT POUT FISH and THE POUT POUT FISH IN THE BIG BIG DARK by Debbie Diesen

Donated by: Debbie Diesen

Not so long ago, all of the libraries in Michigan selected a book for summer reading called THE POUT-POUT FISH. They displayed a copy in every library, and my family READ IT IN EVERY LIBRARY. The craziest part of this story? I never got sick of it. That book is brilliant. Seriously brilliant!

Prize details:
The winner will receive signed copies of Debbie Diesen's THE POUT-POUT FISH and THE POUT-POUT FISH IN THE BIG-BIG DARK.

About THE POUT-POUT FISH:
A NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER
Deep in the water,
Mr. Fish swims about
With his fish face stuck
In a permanent pout.

Can his pals cheer him up?
Will his pout ever end?
Is there something he can learn
From an unexpected friend?

Swim along with the pout-pout fish as he discovers that being glum and spreading “dreary wearies” isn’t really his destiny. Bright ocean colors and playful rhyme come together in this fun fish story that’s sure to turn even the poutiest of frowns upside down.

About THE POUT-POUT FISH IN THE BIG-BIG DARK:
Mr. Fish wants to help his friend Ms. Clam when she loses her pearl, but though he’s fast as a sailfish, as smart as dolphin, and as strong as a shark, Mr. Fish has a secret: he’s scared of the dark!
Very young children will swim along with Mr. Fish as he journeys deep into the ocean to new and mysterious places. They will discover, as Mr. Fish does, the power of friendship to light the way through the big-big dark.
